The Alzheimer’s Resource Center of Connecticut is launching a new study on the both the Java Music Club and Java Memory Car programs.
The Alzheimer’s Resource Center of Connecticut is one of only a handful of non-profit providers focused exclusively on caring for individuals at all stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
They are pioneers in dementia care, recognized as one of the most knowledgeable resources for Alzheimer’s disease in the nation. They have developed effective models of care that are respectful, dignified and have compassion at their core.
Java Memory Care is an adapted version of the Java Music Club peer support program for those living with advanced dementia. This program was recently nominated for product of the year by the Ontario Association for Long Term Care.
The study of the Java Memory Care program at the Alzheimer’s Resource Center will last 6 months and began in April 2016. Stay tuned for updates!
